Qantas Holidays lays off 40 staff in Qld
Qantas Holidays has blamed the closure of its Brisbane office and sacking of 40 staff on the economic downturn.
Peter Collins, the chief executive of Jetset Travelworld Group, which merged with Qantas Holidays last year, said the lay-offs were part of an extensive cost-cutting program designer handbags cheap prompted by the economic downturn.
