Lisa Newton, founder of Boogles Bookkeeping Services is shortlisted for Enterprising Women Awards 20
The shortlisted finalists of the Enterprising Women Annual Awards 2009 has been announced and you can vote for your favourites online. It鈥檚 like X-Factor meets The Apprentice.
It鈥檚 an cheap nike shoes exciting time for Lisa Newton, Managing Director of Boogles Ltd, who has been shortlisted for the 鈥榊oung Entrepreneur of the Year Awards鈥? Lisa, who began Boogles aged 23, with 拢150 from her student accommodation is thrilled, 鈥淭his is the 4th shortlist I鈥檝e made it onto this year and I鈥檓 just really happy that the work we鈥檙e doing at Boogles is being recognised.鈥?br />
Boogles is primarily a bookkeeping company and is being franchised throughout the UK. Lisa is also busy completing a series of books aimed at helping individuals and business owner understand bookkeeping and cash flow and the importance of understand the numbers. The books are written in a very simple way with lots of amusing pictures, which actually make bookkeeping seem rather interesting.
As Global Enterprise Week starts 16-20 November 2009, there are a lot of activities and events taking place, which are aimed at encouraging people to take enterprise seriously.
Lisa is an Ambassador for Enterprise UK, the national campaign to give people in the UK confidence, skills and ambition to be enterprising and to have ideas and make them happen. 鈥淚鈥檓 all for people having a go and being entrepreneurial.鈥?Said Lisa.
