Reese And Ryan Split

One of Hollywood's hottest couples calls it quits.
ET has learned that after seven years of marriage, REESE WITHERSPOON, 30, and her husband, RYAN PHILLIPPE, 32, have separated.
"We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate," a spokesperson for Reese said in a statement to ET. "They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time."
"Marriage is hard," Reese told Vanity Fair back in 2004. "I think the greatest lesson I could take from my parents' marriage and Ryan's parents' marriage is to go with the flow. ... [It's] not about expecting someone to make you happy every day, or to complete your life. It's a great partnership. Two individuals come together and share a life, puma speed cat have children, and, hopefully, you come out of it as friends. I never thought it was easy. I still don't think it's easy."
The two met at Reese's 21st birthday party and later co-starred in the film 'Cruel Intentions.' They married in 1999 in Charleston, S.C., and have two children, AVA, 7, and DEACON, 3.
