Cadillac DTS Tops AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Award

A recent survey by AutoPacific has had actual owners naming the Cadillac DTS as the most satisfying car or truck among all 2007 models. Cadillac鈥檚 DTS earned first place in the Large Luxury vibram five fingers kso Car category in AutoPacific's recent Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, and its score was the highest for any vehicle in any category in the industry.

"This achievement for DTS vibram five fingers is especially important, as the experiences of actual customers are the ultimate measure," said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager. "Cadillac, and the DTS in particular, earn excellent consumer loyalty based on the type of satisfaction shown in this important survey of new vehicle owners."

AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Award comes directly from vehicle owners' input of their experience with their vehicle. The survey polled approximately 24,000 owners of 2007 models.

The 2008 DTS set to be launched later this year, is marked by the introduction of the limited-edition DTS Platinum, which boasts of an elegant handcrafted interior. The DTS is also in the forefront when it comes to technology as available features include Magnetic Ride Control, heated windshield washer fluid and the vibram five fingers sprint new Lane Departure Warning and Side Blind Zone Alert safety systems. A 4.6-liter Northstar engine and OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation come standard. Pricing starts at $42,590, including destination. Still on Cadillac news, Motor Trend has reported that the next generation CTS-V to be launched in 2009, will be powered by the same supercharged LS7 7.0-liter engine that will be used in the much awaited Blue Devil, with the CTS-V to have an output of almost 600 hp. The move will make the CTS-V a serious competitor to the German makers -- the BMW M3 and Audi RS4 both have an output of 420 hp, vibram five finger and the C63 AMG about 503 hp. Competing with the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG, the CTS-V will top both in horse power.
