Security guards robbed in Sydney's north
Armed men have robbed three cash-in-transit security guards on Sydney's northern beaches, police say.
Police allege one of the guards was threatened with a firearm outside a shopping centre on Jacksons Road, Warriewood, about 7.40am (AEST) Tuesday.
The bandits then fled the scene with a sum of cash and a guard's pistol, police said.
The offenders were last seen travelling east towards Pittwater Road along Jacksons Road in a 2004 blue Subaru Liberty sedan.
Police believe the vehicle is displaying the stolen number plates mbt sport shoes YGF-965.
